ABOUT US: Through Afrikan Eyes started in 1997 in GA as a small study group named “Circle of Umoja” meaning (unity). That name was chosen so there wouldn’t be a head or leader of the group, but to function as a round table where information and ideas can come from anyone in the group.  We attended great Afrikan festivals and cultural celebrations in the community.
